Established in 1967 by Ron Williams, RC Williams began as a dedicated maintenance and machining business serving the heavy industry sector. Ron recognised the need for reliable, high-quality machining services, laying the foundation for what would become a leader in precision engineering across Australia.
In the second generation, Rob Williams—together with his brother Ian Williams—expanded our operations by incorporating CNC machining and diversifying into advanced precision engineering. Under Rob’s visionary leadership, the business refined its core values and built the capabilities that have defined our reputation for product excellence until his retirement in 2018.
Today, the third generation, Nick and Sam, along with our skilled engineering team, continue the family-run tradition established by Ron. We remain driven by our core values as we expand our expertise and technology, while also improving our environmental and social impact and championing transparency in corporate sustainability.

Meet the Leadership Team
Nick Williams Director
From a young age, Nick has always been conducive to using his hands in fixing or building things. Nick completed his apprenticeship at R C Williams, learning the trade from his predecessors, and has been in the manufacturing/machining industry for 20 years.
Nick’s engineering knowledge, attention to detail and tenacity are what make our final products as reliable as can be.
He is also the grill/beer master on our BBQ lunch days.
Sam Williams Director
Sam has more than 10 years’ experience in the manufacturing industry, working with wide variety of customers through which he has gained his extensive knowledge to drive our business forward.
Sam also draws from his rich experience working in the hospitality industry, bringing focus on customer service.
Sam has gained his MBA in 2018.
David Borovnik Operations Manager
Prior to joining R C Williams, David has worked in the engineering steel distribution sector for 25 years, where he gained his extensive knowledge of various grades of engineering steels.
Outside of work, he plays masters soccer and umpires softball during the summer months.
Paul Murton Production Manager
Starting his journey as a fitter/turner more than 40 years ago, Paul has experience in many areas of manufacturing including subcontractor management, foundry operations and quality control.
Paul has been an integral part of R C Williams, overseeing the transition of the company’s manufacturing processes from traditional methods to those incorporating the 21st century technology. His knowledge and ingenuity are crucial to solving challenges we face on the factory floor.
He is also an avid gardener and cook at home.
